Here are two easy, unique recipes for kids to enjoy:

Vermicelli Kunafa Recipe

Dry roast vermicelli in a pan. Once done, keep it aside. Then take a large pan and add sugar to it. Now add water and heat until sugar is dissolved. Next, add few drops of lemon juice, and saffron essence. Cook the syrup until thick. Place it aside when done.

Next, take a large bowl and add the roasted vermicelli. Now add butter to it and mix. Finally, take out half of the mixture on a separate plate and putit aside.

Now in a large bowl, add yellow food color and add the separated vermicelli in it. Next, take a baking pan,add colored coated vermicelli, and spread evenly. Now add ricotta cheese or khoya and crumble itwith your hands or a spoon. Make sure you put an even layer of khoya on the vermicelli.

Now sprinkle Mozzarella cheese over it. Next, add the remaining butter vermicelli and spread it evenly so that all the khoya and cheese are fully covered.

Finally, bake it in a preheated oven at 180°C for 20-25 minutes. Remove it from the baking pan carefully when warm. Now pour the warm sugar syrup generously. Garnish it with crushed pistachios, walnut, or almonds, and serve.

Sheer Khurma Recipe

Kids love Sheer Khurma, another delicious dessert recipe that can easily be prepared at home. Take a large pan and add milk, sugar, and cardamom seeds. Mix it well and bring it to a boil. Keep stirring till the milk decreases to half the quantity.

Take another frying pan and add clarified butter to it. Next, add dry dates and fry. Next, add almonds, and fry for few minutes. Once done, place them aside.

Pro Tip: For better taste and results, pre-soak all the nuts in water for 2 hours.

Now add clarified butter to apan, and add crushed vermicelli to it. Fry it until the color changes to a golden brown. Now add the fried vermicelli to the reduced milk. Cook the mixture at low flame for few minutes. Also, add fried nuts and simmer for 10 minutes. Take out in a bowl, garnish with nuts and serve chilled.
